The Rooted Life does not sell your personal information, does not share it for advertising purposes, and collects only what is genuinely needed to run this site and support your care. Where we hold sensitive health information, we hold it carefully - that is a responsibility, not a box to check.

What we collect on this site

When you visit the marketing pages of this site (the homepage, about page, foundations course information, and similar), we use standard analytics cookies to understand how visitors find and use the site. These cookies do not identify you personally. If you fill out the contact form or sign up for the newsletter, we collect your name and email address so we can respond to you. We do not use that information for any other purpose.

How we use it

Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your message. Newsletter sign-ups are used to send the newsletter you asked for. Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and where the site could be clearer. That is the full picture - nothing is sold, nothing is shared with third-party advertisers.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period after for context in future correspondence. Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated and retained for up to 26 months per our analytics provider's standard settings.

Your rights

You can request access to your personal information, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To make any of these requests, send an email to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
